We look forward to welcoming you to our farm shop in the atmospheric old horse stable, located in the courtyard of Klintholm Estate at the end of Klintholm Avenue.
Klintholm Estate’s farm shop is in many ways a gallery showcasing everything produced in East Møn. From organic coffee and ceramics to our own meat, produced from our Hereford cattle that feed on fresh green grass and herbs, spending their entire lives under the open sky, where nature and cattle enjoy optimal conditions year-round.
Fridays 4 PM to 6 PM
Saturdays 11 AM to 2 PM
Pentecost
Friday 4 PM to 6 PM – and Saturday through Monday from 11 AM to 2 PM
Outside opening hours, you’re welcome to contact Inger Marie at 22 22 33 78, who will gladly open the shop if possible.
In our farm shop, we present a carefully curated selection of products that we can vouch for and that our guests can take home to extend their East Møn experience.
There’s much more on our shelves, such as local beverages, crafts, gift ideas, and much more. We aim to reflect the creative enterprise found throughout Møn, focusing primarily on local products while also featuring selected items from the broader region. What they all have in common is:
CRAFTSMANSHIP, SUSTAINABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY, ORIGINALITY, AND QUALITY.
We put great effort into using meat from the entire animal, and therefore usually have a good selection of cured sausages, grilling sausages, pastrami, and snack sausages. We also offer osso buco, roast beef, beef rump (fantastic for pulled beef), offal, and oxtails.
Of course, this is only while stocks last, and we hope for our customers’ understanding when items are sold out. When an animal is butchered, and the bones and offal are removed, you get about 200 kg of pure meat. Out of those 200 kg, there are only 8 kg of ribeye steaks per animal.
If you have any questions or inquiries, you’re very welcome to contact us at gaardbutik@klintholm.dk.
Nature Safari. We all love nature, which is why we love taking guests out into the hilly landscape. We start at Stensgårdsvej and move into the surrounding hills. We briefly discuss the area’s geology, then focus on local biodiversity, climate, and stories about the significance of cow saliva and the fascinating life that unfolds around cow pats. We also talk about our development plans for the area and what it takes to achieve our goals. There will be tastings from the farm shop and an opportunity to visit the farm shop at Klintholm Estate after the tour.
Duration 1.5 hours – price per person 200 DKK including VAT, minimum 10 people.
Historical Guided Tour. Klintholm holds a fascinating history with interesting personalities through the ages. The story of Klintholm also reflects the historical events that have taken place. We start at Klintholm in the courtyard in front of the Farm Shop. We’ll tell you how the estate was established, how the Scavenius family ended up on Møn, and what has happened through the years up until today.
Duration 1 hour – price per person 150 DKK including VAT, minimum 10 people.
