When spring begins to stir around Villa Huno and the light returns over the forest, lake and white cliffs, we invite you to a very special experience: The taste of Møn - a gastronomic afternoon and evening created in collaboration with Thomas Rode.
This is not just a dinner. It's an encounter with the raw nature of Møn, its terroir and the stories that inhabit the landscape. A day where calm descends, the senses are sharpened, and spring becomes part of the menu.
The taste of Møn can be experienced with or without accommodation.
14:00 - Arrival and possible check-in
14:30 - Joint walk to the cliff
We start the afternoon in the budding spring light as we hike together towards Møns Klint. Along the way, snacks and bubbles are served at one of the area's most beautiful viewpoints.
Estate owners Carl Gustav and Inger Marie Scavenius will talk about their relationship with converting agriculture to wild nature and how they work with large grazing animals such as Hereford cattle that keep the open nature open.
Here, Thomas Rode also shares his passion for local produce, biodiversity and the idea of letting the rhythm of nature guide gastronomy.
Spring on Møn is an experience all of its own - and with Rode as narrator, the landscape comes alive in new ways.
Back at Villa Huno there's time to relax, change clothes and enjoy the tranquility surrounded by lake and forest.
17.00 - Welcome drinks
The evening continues with a 4-course menu composed and presented by Thomas Rode.
The dishes are accompanied by a carefully selected wine menu that highlights both the season and Rode's nature-connected style of cuisine.
We finish dinner with coffee, after which the evening is free to continue with drinks in the restaurant.
The event ends at 21:00 - but the mood can continue for those who want it to.
For those staying overnight, a delicious breakfast will be served in the restaurant the next morning - a calm end to a day of nature and gastronomy.
