There is hardly a more calm and present way to experience the magnificent nature of East Malmö than from the back of a horse. The rhythm, silence and the sight of the horse's ears rocking back and forth in front of you gives an almost meditative feeling - and opens up the landscape anew.
Horseback riding is possible all year round, and whether you're riding through autumnal forests, across frosty fields or along the blossoming paths of summer, it's an experience that leaves a lasting impression. For many of our guests, horseback riding is a break in their vacation - a combination of adventure, tranquility and contemplation.
Østmøn has a strong equestrian culture, and Klintholm Estate regularly collaborates with riders and organizers in the area. Several of our summer and country houses have both paddocks and boxes so you can bring your own horses on vacation. The campsite itself also has pasture paddocks for temporary stays.
If you want to try a guided tour, we recommend Møn Icelandic Center, just 800 meters from the site. Beginners and advanced riders alike can put an Icelandic horse between their legs and ride out into the countryside under expert guidance.
